“Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani” is gearing up for its release this week with Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles. The advance booking for the film has already commenced. However, before its release, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) stepped in and demanded certain changes. Despite being a lighthearted family entertainer directed by Karan Johar, the film faced scrutiny from the censor board. CBFC requested the filmmakers to either remove or modify a few dialogues that were deemed abusive. Additionally, they asked for the removal of the dialogue “Khela hobe,” which references West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. During the 2021 Assembly elections, “Khela Hobe” served as a slogan for her party, TMC.
