Cindy Crawford and her daughter, Kaia Gerber, love matching outfits.
On Saturday, July 27, the mother-daughter duo attended the opening night of Omega House Paris 2024 in chic little black dresses, reflecting the simple, classic style of the City of Light. Crawford, 58, and Gerber, 22, are brand ambassadors for the luxury watch brand.
Crawford wore a midi-length black dress with a cowl neckline for the event. She added a pop of color with a red clutch and kept her accessories minimal, wearing a gold necklace, small hoop earrings, and a glittering Omega watch. The model styled her wavy hair down in a side part.
Gerber, the Bottoms actress, kept her look youthful with a black minidress featuring slender straps and a low-cut neckline. She completed her ensemble with a diamond necklace with a small pendant, an Omega watch, and red slingbacks.
In addition to attending the Omega House Paris opening, Crawford and Gerber were also in town for the 2024 Olympic Games. Earlier that day, Crawford shared an Instagram post of her and Gerber showcasing their stylish outfits leading up to the opening ceremony, which they watched from the stands.
In one snap, the mother and daughter posed with matching red umbrellas on the streets of Paris. In another, Crawford posed by Olympic signs along the Seine, wearing a navy tank top and high-waisted, wide-leg pants.
She also shared a video of her and Gerber in the stands, clapping and watching the events. “What a kickoff!” Crawford captioned her post. “Let’s go team USA! 🇺🇸.”
Crawford shares Gerber and her son, Presley Gerber, 24, with husband Rande Gerber. In the May 11 episode of Christy Turlington Burns and Kelly Corrigan’s podcast series, Kelly Corrigan Wonders: About Your Mother, Crawford revealed she doesn’t believe in giving her kids unsolicited advice.
She shared that the best piece of advice her own mother gave her was, “Show up, shut up, and wear beige.”
“It’s about when you’re showing up for your kids or… it would be more, I guess, if you were to be the perfect mother-in-law at a wedding,” Crawford explained. “She’s like, ‘It’s not about you, you don’t want to stand out.'”
Crawford added, “They know if they ask me, they’re going to get my real opinion. But if they don’t ask me… I really try hard, and I’m probably about 70 percent good at this… I try not to offer unsolicited advice.”
