RRR continues to make a lot of noise in Hollywood this awards season. After winning awards including a Golden Globe the film’s team – SS Rajamouli, Ram Charan and Jr NTR have been revealing fresh insights into the film’s making during media interactions. Now, Ram Charan has revealed that he had to stop filming for RRR for 3 months.
As per multiple reports, Ram Charan shared details about filming for RRR in Ukraine. He said that he had a second-degree ligament tear and had to halt shooting for 3 months in order to recover. Once he recovered from his injury, he returned to the film’s sets in Ukraine to shoot for Naatu Naatu.
In another interview, Ram Charan revealed that getting the dance sequence right took six days of rehearsals.
RRR’s Naatu Naatu made history at the Golden Globes 2023 when it bagged the award for Best Song – Motion Picture. The energetic, infectious track became wildly popular after the film’s release, even sparking social media trends.
RRR has also been shortlisted at the Oscars 2023 in the Original Song category. The film is among 4 Indian films that have made it to the shortlist. The other films include Chhello Show, All That Breathes and The Elephant Whispers.
